Incontinence

Urinary incontinence affects 13 million Americans, the majority of whom are women. Dr. Freedman's office offers many minimally invasive and in some cases non-surgical treatments options for patients who lose urine with coughing, sneezing, running, or laughing.

Mid-urethral sling procedures are performed on an outpatient basis and have an 85% long-term success rate in correcting urinary incontinence. Patients undergoing this surgery will usuall return to an active lifestyle without the embarassment of incontinence.

Neocontrol therapy is another option for treating incontinence. Neocontrol therapy is a non-surgical technique that is performed in-office.
