Urolithiasis

Urolithiasis is the process of forming small stones or calculi within the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra. Commonly referred to as kidney stones, symptoms of urolithiasis include flank pain and painful urination. There are many causes of urolithiasis and Dr. Freedman will work with his patients not only to relieve the pain caused by renal calculi, but also to determine and eliminate any underlying causes that may be present.
